Handcrafted and hand cut, our soap bars weigh approximately 4 oz.
Although targeted to weigh 4 oz., each bar of His and Hers Soap will vary slightly due to a difference in cure rate, as well as the hand cutting and trimming. Our soap is cured on our drying racks for a minimum of six weeks (twelve weeks for the castile bars) to ensure that you receive a hard bar of soap that will last many showers and baths. We never rush the process by taking short cuts.
Each of our soaps includes top quality oils of olive, coconut, palm kernel, palm, rice bran, castor, shea butter and a specialty oil such as hazelnut, sweet almond, apricot kernel, avocado or cocoa butter. We use Tussah silk fibers which are produced by Tussah silk worms in tropical or semi-tropical climates. The silk fibers are dissolved early in the soap making process and that is in part what gives our soap that special silky feel on your skin.
